HISTORY
Nubes de Mazapan (marzipan clouds in Spanish) was born in 2012 from an idea of Michelangelo Citro. Drawing on a play on words that refers to childhood dreams, to the "non-form" shape of clouds and marzipan, Nubes de Mazapan connects the stories of Michelangelo and his family, and of the artisan tradition. The idea of rediscovering the Italian manufacturing tradition, the materials and processes of the oldest districts, combining them with experimental lines.
